Brilliant food and a lovely environment. The way they have decorated for Christmas is elegant and lovely. Kid-friendliness: Our daughter (5) was made to feel welcome and there was no problem with us exploring the whole pub to find all the Christmas decs. After a long wait for our very average meals, two of our party order the Eton Mess. They were tiny when they arrived, despite costing £6.25 each. But by far the worst bit for me was the fact that it wasn 't just warm though should definitely have been cold) it was really hot in places.
