A wonderful place. The food and the concept are thought out. The wine map is extensive. Selected regional wines and international pearls. The food was first-class. The service was sometimes a bit careless and we always have high demands. The lady of the house has her best and we like to come back. View all feedback.
What Heidemarie Beckmann doesn't like about Hotel-Restaurant HÖERHOF:
An absolutely great location. But our food was served on cold plates and potato gratin was certainly warmed from the day before and not right. It was very disappointing. We will no longer visit the place! View all feedback.
Everything was wonderful, the food was excellent, the atmosphere was perfect, and the staff was very friendly. You're welcome.
Super restaurant. I can only recommend. Just great!
A great ambience in a historic guest room, which has been sprinkled comfortably and with modern accents. The selection and the dishes have not left a wish open and the preparation does not have to hide behind a star store. Great! We're happy to come back. A special praise also to the nice service, which was able to answer all questions with patience and knowledge about spice and potion impressively.
Unfortunately, the evening did not live up to the expectations set by the restaurant's website and advertising materials. The service staff was very unresponsive. Despite it being a Friday night, there were only a few other tables occupied. The price of the food was fair for the mediocre quality, but the drink prices were quite high. A bottle of Pinot Noir from Rheingau cost €44, and the cheapest red wine option was €70. We did enjoy the dessert and a tasty digestif, but overall, it was a disappointing evening.
The restaurant menus were well-described on the menu, and the friendly and competent service further explained them in detail. We opted for the 3-course indulgence menu and were not disappointed. The dishes were of top quality and beautifully presented, with a kitchen greeting between each course. The price to performance ratio at this level was excellent. However, we found the wine selection to be limited and slightly overpriced. The ambiance in the old building was great, but we were not fans of the metal flowers on the tables, which seemed unnecessary alongside real flowers. Plastic candles with fake flames felt out of place - real candles would have been more appropriate for such a fine dining experience. Despite these minor criticisms, it was a wonderful evening with delicious food, and we are likely to return in the future. The food alone is worth it!
