I visited the chip shop at tea time and ordered pudding chips and gravy twice. I observed the woman who was serving me take the puddings out of the fridge and place them in the microwave. I thought then that it was strange because usually...they are in a bamboree whilst they steam. This was after the woman had asked me three times what I wished to order. I can't fault Newtown Chippy the splits are nice as are the dinners
Since the lockdown here 3 times and 3 times the chips have been understaffed, loss of money. won't be common again.
We have been here a few times and always had the most delicious fish and chips. The fish is cooked there and then to your liking. We will definitely be back
Fabulous fish is the best! Very friendly staff is nicely cooked and very fresh. Highly recommended
