We stopped here for a change of pace on an I-95 road trip. It is in the Food Lion stripmall. The service is at the counter, and most orders were take out though there were a few clean tables available to eat in, and the sweet ladies brought our food to our table as it was ready. What Seth Domings doesn't like about Empire:
The food is alright. Doesn't taste like your normal Chinese food. The crab Rangoons weren't crispy or sweet as most would expect. I got the orange chicken and fried rice. The pork fried rice was good but the orange chicken was lacking in flavor even though it was smothered in a sauce. It looked burnt as well. The orange peels were black. The outside of the restaurant has a horrific SEWER smell since they opened. Was told they have been confronted multiple times and do nothing !
The food is always hot and always great. Customer service is excellent. The crab rangoon is the best. This place is always very clean.
