Dairy Queen Grill Chill - St. George

I went through the drive-thru and ordered a double combo with onion rings and a peppermint shake. I really enjoyed the burger and onion rings; they were delicious. However, the mint shake was a bit lacking in flavor.

I visited the restaurant on Friday, December 2, around noon. I waited for 15 minutes, even though it wasn’t very busy, and no one assisted me. I then decided to go through the drive-thru and waited an additional 10 minutes, but had the same experience. Eventually, I opted for McDonald's instead, as it was quicker. I usually enjoy Dairy Queen, but I was disappointed this time. The food is good, but the staff's service was lacking.

We were shocked by the poor customer service we experienced while ordering ice cream last night (11/22/22). My husband had ordered a banana split with only hot fudge sauce, but when the young lady brought it to us, it was a standard banana split. When we pointed out the mistake, instead of politely apologizing, she let out a frustrated grunt and sighed, as if it was our fault. She didn’t say anything, just closed the window and walked away in annoyance. When she returned, she handed it to us without saying a word. We had to ask for spoons, and she didn’t even offer us napkins. Clearly, this place is not well-managed if their employees treat customers this way. We won’t be returning.

Happy employees, fresh food, but my favorite are dilly bars. They have dairy free dilly bars for those who are lactose intolerant and they are yummy. They have grilled chicken kabobs that are soft and delicious.
