Interior is small but quaint and rustic; very nice. Atmosphere is welcoming and staff were very friendly. The English breakfast was good. Definitely coming back. View all feedback.
What waller50 doesn't like about Ivory Cafe:
Whilst the cafe was very busy a table became free within a few minutes and we had mid morning coffee and toast as there wasn’t a great selection of cakes available.The coffee was excellent but our granary toast whilst ok was a little anaemic and could have done with another spell in the toaster.The table next to ours had the full cooked (late) breakfast and this looked lovely.The staff were polite and efficient and c... Good choice of sandwiches which were presented nicely with a sald. Quite busy on a Sunday afternoon so the wait was a little longer than we would have liked.
The atmosphere is pleasant, but the cleanliness is lacking. The cocktails are excellent.
I really enjoy this restaurant. The cocktails are excellent, but the beers are just average. It is unfortunate that this restaurant is closing because it is a great spot to visit for a night out. I hope they open a new location in town so they can give it a fresh update. I actually like the elegant decor, it distinguishes it from the typical bars in town.
Friendly and beautifully situated setting . Guests guided to gorgeous Purple Room, welcoming and professional bar staff. Excellent hire rates. Recommend to entrepreneurs such as myself. Special Thank You to Corrie Sutton Manageress.
We waited for over nearly an hour fora ploughmans and a prawn salad both lacking goodies and boring my milk shake was lovely
