With a lively atmosphere and friendly service, diners can enjoy a variety of themed nights featuring global cuisines, although timing and execution may occasionally fall short. Menu highlights include inventive dishes that vary from excellent to satisfactory, pleasing both vegetarians and meat-lovers alike. Despite minor hiccups in service and flavors, the restaurant remains a popular choice, with patrons praising its quality food, value, and the opportunity to support students honing their craft. Reservations are highly recommended.
The food at this restaurant is on par with other 5-star establishments nearby. It is impressive, especially considering the fact that the staff had only started a couple of weeks earlier.
I have visited Edmunds with friends several times in the past few months and it has been fantastic every time. The staff are all lovely and we have gotten to know some of the students and watch their skills, confidence, and careers grow. The food is consistently amazing and they go above and beyond to ensure a perfect dining experience. We mostly go for the weekly Themed Evenings during term time, but they also offer snacks and lunches. It's important to note that they are not open every day, so be sure to check before your visit. We have enjoyed the Indian, Christmas Dinner, and Tastes of East Anglia Themed Evenings recently and are excited for the upcoming Steak Night in February. The restaurant is quite popular and fills up quickly, despite having 100 covers. I highly recommend joining their mailing list and attending the preview night in September to book multiple visits ahead of time, as it may be difficult to get a reservation later on. I wholeheartedly recommend trying Edmunds - you won't be disappointed.
Last week, our group of women had an excellent lunch experience at Edmunds. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. We want to express our gratitude to the staff and students for taking such good care of us. Thank you!
We visited Edmunds on Wednesday evening in a party of 38 and enjoyed a really good meal. Well presented and served, deliciously “different”. We thoroughly recommend a visit. Excellent, especially so, as everything is prepared, cooked and served by the students. Friday buffet is excellent quality and value too.
Visited this week for lunch and I am so glad I did. Food was delicious I had a buttermilk chicken wrap with fennel slaw and it was amazing. Service was great, very attentive. The waiting staff and chefs are all students and they were brilliant! A great local restaurant, at a very reasonable price and a great way to support the students at the college! 10/10 from me!
