Saffron - St David's United Kingdom

We came here for a late night takeaway when all hope was lost. Received excellent service from the man on the till with the speedy calculator skills, who was very patient and helped us with dietary requirements. The curry was amazing and good portion sizes as well, highly recommend:

Loved it so much last night that tonight we've had takeaway from here for the second night in a row! Lovely curries, not oily like they are from some places. The saag aloo and bindi bhaji were the best we've ever had, and we enjoyed the meat curries too. Food was ready to collect on time and there was great friendly service inside on collection. We'll be back again next time we're near St David's on holiday.

This is not a bad Indian in my experience. There's no way it is as good as some of the best Indian restaurants so I'm quite surprised so many people rate it 5 stars that may be because it's the only one in town. The food wasn't bad, quite tasty but the meat wasn't the best quality and I found it quite expensive. The menu is quite small for an Indian.

Nice and only Indian food option around, with good range for veggie lovers. Kingfisher also served : . Opens only for dinner and gets occupied quickly. Adding few authentic dishes may help. Priced right overall, breads (Naan/Chapati bit expensive for a city like St Davids.
