What Shimi's Life doesn't like about The Baked Bear:
Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 12:30 PM when we arrived. There was a sign indicating that it was temporarily closed. We were first-time visitors who traveled from St. Louis County to check it out. Instead, we ended up going down the street to Sugarbot Creamery, which was also our first time visiting. The small custom ice sandwich shop has a delicious vegan chocolate chip ice cream and a vegan cookie. While the selection may be limited, it's great to see vegan options available for both desserts. When my friend and I visited, she inquired about vegan choices, and to my surprise, they confirmed they had some. I ended up trying the vegan cookie, and I couldn't be happier with my experience!
