The Works - St. Catharines

We went on a Wednesday night for their 2 for 1 burger special and it was fantastic! Excellent burgers and great service as well.

My husband and I had lunch here with another couple. Firstly, our server was extremely genial, witty, and accommodating (kicking myself for not getting her name!). We both had the veggie burger, mine with sweet potato fries, and hubby's with regular fries. The meal was presented well and tasted fantastic. We also enjoyed the whole ambience of the restaurant...not to mention the interesting idea of serving water in measuring cups!I will say that the menu was a bit cumbersome, however, our server was very helpful when it came to navigating the various items. The selection is limited for vegetarians/vegans...but, in the end - this is mainly a burger place and they do offer a veggie burger that tastes great!

If they had a rating on T/A between average and very good, that's how I would rate The Works, so I would rate it as "Good". They have a multitude of burger combinations which is nice. The burgers here were good but not extraordinary. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. If you want a decent burger, this is not a bad place to have one.

Had a late lunch at The Works on Saturday during the Classic Car show. Selection was great and the food was piping hot and tasted amazing. Best of all was the service we received from Taylor. He was very personable and attentive. Also the Manager Melissa was very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

I got the blue cheese burger, and added an onion ring on top. The burger had so much flavour and was so juicy, not to mention massive! The sweet potatoes fries were also some of the best I've had.
