The Kilt And Clover - St. Catharines

Just popped in for the first time quick for lunch. Service was great, and food was excellent. I had the Beef Dip sandwich, and it was seriously delicious. Would recommend!

I enjoyed the patio at the kilt for lunch. They actually have several great vegan options and I had a hard time choosing. I ended up with the potato wrap. It was delicious. The people I went with had the fried chicken sandwich, chicken fingers and fires.The children both had the chicken fingers and they are very picky and rated this there new favorite restaurant :)Great food, service and location

Julia is an excellent serveuse, attentive, and friendly. We went there for a Friday night dinner. It was a very hot day and requested a table inside- not a problem, we were offered a table right away. Our server Zoe was fabulous! So pleasant and attentive! I don’t remember having a such a great service anywhere in a long time, thank you Zoe! Our food, Caprese salad and Beef dip was excellent! Great selection of drinks. We will definitely be back soon!

My partner and I frequent Kilt often as we live nearby, normally just for an app and a beer. Tonight we went for dinner where I ordered a chicken burger that comes with honey mustard. I asked the server for no honey mustard and a different sauce instead, when the food arrived she quoted “and the chicken burger no honey mustard” as she placed it in front of me, which was evidently dripping in orange honey mustard sauce. I brought it to her attention and she brought it back to the kitchen and returned to let us know the kitchen admitted to “not even looking at the slip” and they’d make me a new one, inconvenient since my partner had his burger, but no problem. She returns not even three minutes later and said “the kitchen made it quick” and placed the same burger in front of me. the sauce had been messily and attemptedly wiped off but it was still all over the bread and the sides of the breast, not to mention the breast was stained orange. She also brought me the sauce I had asked for instead on the side and told me to “put it on myself.” I had to wait about 5 minutes for her to walk by again to again say, this is evidently the same burger to which she replied “maybe he’s new”. It was such sloppy service and the seemingly manager or supervisor (recognized as again, we go to Kilt often) walked by half a dozen times but never checked in or offered any apology for the issue. Absolutely stunned. I would give this experience 0 stars if I could.
