This used to be a favorite spot to stop for veggies and fruit...baked goods through the spring, summer and fall. They were not open at all in 2016, I heard the owners retired out of the business and family members did not want to take it on. View all feedback.

The family owned cabins at Nokara Farms are the kind of places where you wish you could live – or at least retreat to anytime you want to and the hosts are passionate people who love their land. Lovingly decorated with attractive, comfortable furniture – (including the best bed I have slept in for some time) the cabins are set amongst flowering (well in the Spring anyway) fruit trees and vineyards with uninterrupted views of Lake Ontario from almost every window. We stayed in the Pinot Noir cabin that was stocked with a good assortment of fresh yummy things to eat and drink, all necessary kitchen accoutrements and cozy electric fireplaces in all rooms. All this and you are only 5 or so minutes away from quaint Port Dalhousie and not far from all the other Niagara attractions. I cannot recommend these cabins enough!
My mom and I have been travelling to Nokara from Burlington every Saturday for 5 years. We discovered it by taking a drive to Niagara - the long scenic way.We decided to stop in to have a look and have been going back since. We buy an assortment of fresh fruit and veggies and then pick up our sweets on the way to the cash. Not to be disappointed in the selection of sweets available.....I preorder with Anna who is terrific to deal with. Thanks Nokara!!
We cant say enough good things about our stay in the Chardonnay Cottage at Nokara Farms or about our hosts, Kathryn and Joe!! Such warm and welcoming people!!Breathtaking views from every window with the deck perched right at the waters edge. The sounds of the waves hitting the shore reminded me of our last trip to the carribean.Homemade goodies welcomed us, farm fresh eggs, and everything you could need for breakfast was provided. We enjoyed the sunny deck during the day and the firepit at night. My favourite experience was waking to a magnificant view across the water from the comfy king bed every morning. This cottage was exactly what we needed, but more importantly, exactly what my mother who came in after us needed given that she had been told she only has weeks left on this earth. She loved it and didnt want to leave. We didnt want to leave either but I do plan to return, especially when I need to feel close to my mom and the memories we made on my sons wedding weekend. Thank you Kathryn and Joe!! We will see you again!!
