Joeys in my hometown closed down so we drove an hour all the way here just for the famous fish and chips and it didn’t disappoint!! Fast and friendly service; food was delicious and great quality. View all feedback.
What Paul Miil doesn't like about Joey's Seafood Restaurants:
Apparently new ownership. Small smattering of fries vs what Joeys was known for (tons of fries is a bit of a surprise. Water (ice? tasted like a dank, musty basement. Table did not look wiped clean. Ladder leaning against the wall. Just felt sketch vs the warm, bright cherry days of plenty from years ago. Fish was hot and tasty, but smaller than I remember. Fries quality were fine, just very few. Chicken and popcorn... View all feedback.
Very friendly and fast service. Lots of parking. Would have loved to see 1pc fish meals as 2pc is too much. Chicken bites could have used more flavour and spice.Walls beside tables and the floors could use a wash.
Service was good. Friendly and quick.Fish (pollock) was mediocre. Fries good. Coleslaw costs extra. Can of pop outrageous at $3.Dark and tired interior.Much better fish n chips can be had elsewhere (eg. Halibut House in NF).
The Halibut and Fries were deliciousThe order was made per my request the halibut was pan fried in a gluten free rice flour, it was light and delicious perfectThe Fries are not coated so was able to eat it without distress.Loved the chipotle sauce too!
Never go back. First order fish was small. Second time did get a free piece of fish but got charged for the fries and coleslaw that was supposed to go with the order. Couldn't even give you a potato for all the inconvenience. Plus I got the third degree !
I HATE COLESLAW..................................Not anymore Brotha. Amazing coleslaw, that's homemade and fish to die for.3 Thumbs upThanks so much for your special attention to details. Megan gets an 11 out of 10 LOLCan't wait to returnDan 0
