The Bend Lounge - St. Andrew's Parish

Forgot to take a pic because I was way too busy destroying the bend burger. Best burger I've had in a while, and I try a lot of burgers... if you like a great juicy hand pressed burger with cobs buns, check this place out. I know I'll be driving from the park for a while when I need to scratch the burger itch :

I love this place, the food is amazing, the burgers are the best in town and the fries are so yummy. I love it. i go every week. soooooo yummmmy

Never had a bad meal. We've never had a bad meal at The Bend and like the place a lot. Admittedly some were better than others but all were good. The only problems are a) if you go after 6:00 P.M. weekdays, you may find the service is slow to non existent from the bar, and <br/ <br/ b) one of the waitresses wears enough perfume to choke a horse. Good food smells are wiped out every time she walks by. To make it worse, she goes outside to smoke then comes in and sprays herself with perfume then smells of too much perfume and stale smoke. Someone in management should get on top of this.<br/ <br/ Be wary of reviews by a person who has never given a good review to any bar and judges a place on who is playing the VLT's.<br/ <br/ The lazy bartender is now gone as is the perfumed waitress. All is good now.

Great spot. I have been to the Bend now 4 times. Each time I have something differant. It's typical bar food with one big differance the food is fresh and tastes good. Service is average to above average. My only critque is the big screen tv tends to light up the one side of the bar with a glare.

Great neighbourhood pub. I have been to The Bend often. The service is great and the food has always been fantastic, especially the burgers which always taste fresh and delicious. The owner makes a point of coming around and checking on all the guests when he is there. It is a great place to have a drink and a meal and watch sports or play some darts. They have great chefs and I can't wait to try the brunch menu! And you MUST try the homemade carrot cake. It is fantastic! I love this place.
