Terrible terrible my wife and I couldn’t help but notice and we’re shocked to see the employee pictured below literally licking the jars with his tongue, picking up jars of pickles and pasta sauce and licking them. Got a gift card for a family member had the receipt and tried to load it, it wouldn’t work so I took the time to go back to sobeys and ask for help.on why the gift wouldn’t work. The response was gift cards are non refundable So whether I spend 25 or 200 if the gift card didn’t work I would be out all that money. All I wanted was help to either put the money on another card that worked which they can do and they can check to see if the money is still on the card but her response was gift cards are non-refundable. So the way I see it if you buy a gift card from Sobeys and that gift card is faulty and you have money on it that was never spent you are out your funds I will not be shopping there and buying gift cards from this location. People be carful you will not be helped with respect and they have no issue taking your money.
Went to sobeys to get some chicken thighs that were advertised in flyer. We walked around meat department looking and there was none there only chicken drumsticks. We went to front desk and asked for raincheck. The lady at front said she could not until she confirmed with meat department. So I asked her to call. She said he had no phone and did not know where he is. So again I asked just can I get a rain check. The lady again said no. I am not sure what is with the lady. But I think going there is a waste of my time. If you don't have a product do not advertise it. I will not go to that store again. I feel very offended after being a faithful shopper there since the store was new. Anyone reading this. Do no expect good service.
Great customer service, I was just stopping by to pick up some stuff on my way home, at checkout, the cashier greeted me, after I was done unloading my basket, another staff took it for me, and there was a 3rd guy helping me pack my stuff, and everyone was welcoming, never had that experience at a grocery store before, so well done!
