Little Duchess in Ritchie is the baby sister of the mothership on 124 Street. It's an outlet spot that shares a spot with a few other services. They have many of the same pastries as the home location. Of course they have all of the favorite macarons. This a beautiful addition to this area of town that is undergoing a beautiful renaissance. What Lissa Wagner doesn't like about Little Duchess Bake Shop Ritchie Market:
All pastries are stale and taste weird. The strawberries in gateau macaron printemp tasted almost rotten. Next time I would just go to dutchess. Most likely, the Ritchie Market location is the place to sell expired products from Dutchess. View all feedback.
Very well hidden from the street. Didn't notice any sign either. Nice ambiance of a small indoor market. Delicious as usual.
You don't know what to choose, everything is delicious ?
Oh me oh my was worth having to wait for them to open. So much selection and delightful colors and flavours. The scones were balanced beautifully with the lemon and blueberry chocolate chip cookie soft . Even the rhubarb blossom traveled well for later snacking . There is lots of out door seating as well as a sweet littlr coffee shop in ear shot.
Best bakery in Edmonton. I spend my time on my travels looking for places with pastries as good, I have not yet found anything. Super consistent, super delicious
My daughters and I were there today and bought macarons and other cakes/pies. We had such amazing service from Ranelle (not sure if I spelled that correctly, sorry! that we had to post a review. She answered all my questions and was just overall a really nice person :
