Lakeview Foods - St. Andrew's Parish

Been going nearly every other day for almost a year. They're always so sweet and friendly. The perfect little community store, always makes me feel so welcome and a pretty good selection of stuff!!

Lots of expired goods, i've caught both a pop and a chocolate bar i've purchased from here have been expired last time i went i got completely overcharged for the items i purchased

I want to love this place, but I can't. I recently went in and got a bunch of items ranging from kinder eggs to Ritz crackers. Over half of the stuff was well past expiry. Couple that with the high prices and I just can't recommend it. It's a shame because it's the closest stop to my house for snacks and food, and I want to shop local. Kinder eggs that expired Feburary though? They really need to make sure their shelfs are up to date.

Yawn, OK at least. Parking lot eery and dark at night. Alley and bar next to store. I guess the mom and pop type of store is OK but I would recommend a makeover as something like a doughnut coffee shop or restaurant or internet cafe. It is too complicated to be comfortable here more than a few minutes. Watch for the curbs as they seem oddly placed, the lot is poorly designed for traffic flow and it is easy to puncture a tire when driving into the lot.
