The menu offered a wide variety of choices, making it difficult to decide what to try. However, the fig starter was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations.
Our first visit to The Vine Leaf in St. Andrews was fantastic and we will definitely be returning. We were warmly greeted, seated, and handed menus. I ordered drinks for us and we both decided on our meals - I had the Greek lamb and my partner chose the game trio. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the concept of serving the sweets separately was a great idea as it allowed us to control our portions. The dessert menu was impressive, and my partner thoroughly enjoyed the baked Alaska. I finished off with a coffee. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience with great food and service.
Whenever we are in St Andrew's we make a bee line for the Vine Leaf. Highest quality cuisine using local produce at a reasonable price. Good choice of dishes for all tastes. Ian is a good host with a great knowledge of wine to serve with the menu. Morag produces the finest quality dishes. No visit to St Andrew's is complete without a meal at the Vine Leaf.
This is the best restaurant I have ever been to. I dined with two friends and we all agreed that the food was ridiculously good. I am thrilled to have experienced dining at one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants, and The Vine Leaf surpassed even that! The service was excellent, with a very pleasant server. I highly recommend this place to anyone. The food here is so delicious that they change their daily menu options. Anything you've ever tasted before will pale in comparison to dining here!
