The Avocado Toast was absolutely delicious and fulfilling. The restaurant can get quite busy, especially during busy times such as lunch or Sunday brunch, because the food is outstanding. Just a little heads up: you may need to wait during peak hours, but it’s definitely worth it!
Toast is a nice little restaurant that has no major flaws. However, it also lacks anything especially unique or memorable. If you're looking for a cozy place for a simple breakfast, it’s a reliable option, but there are definitely better choices out there. I might consider coming back, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.
During our visit to St. Albert, we discovered that Toast has a strong reputation in the area. Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to those expectations. We went for lunch yesterday and faced several problems. One of our water glasses had a noticeable lipstick stain from a previous customer, and my side of fries had two hairs in it. The food itself was only mediocre. To make matters worse, there was a mix-up with our order, and we ended up with pancakes instead of the French Toast we had ordered. While I understand that mistakes can happen, these incidents combined left us feeling quite disappointed. Regrettably, this restaurant did not match the high praise it has received.
I visited Toast in St. Albert for the first time and went solo since I was looking for breakfast. The menu had a great variety of delicious options, but I opted for the Surfer Eggs Benedict, which was absolutely fantastic. It was served with slices of melon and home fries. I couldn't finish all the home fries, but I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! I ordered the Avocado Toast, and it was delicious! Initially, I was a bit unsure because I don't usually have salad for breakfast, but I'm really glad I pushed myself to try something new. The service was outstanding as well. If I lived in St. Albert, I would definitely become a regular at this place!
