What Keegan Parisian likes about Thai Mekong Restaurant:
I have often stopped here for lunch and have enjoyed the tom yum soup and other soups. On my last visit we went for dinner. We shared a red curry chicken dish, the coconut rice and the pad Thai. The coconut rice is excellent and was delicious with the spicy curry. I prefer my pad Thai a little spicier, but it was still flavourful. I do wish they would have the condiments on the table, like they used to. View all feedback. What Valentina Altmann doesn't like about Thai Mekong Restaurant:
Ordered a pumpkin spiced thai soup and an entre, found the soup kind of bland and missing something, the food was not very hot and they seemed to want us to leave as they brought the bill rather quickly. It was not our first choice but it was convenient to our hotel, should have drove to our original plan venue. View all feedback.

Popped in for lunch. Ordered the Tom Kai Zhao and Phat Thai. Both were excellent. Staff were on the spot and friendly. A great little out of the way place.

read moreThai Mekong restaurant in St. Albert offers a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff serving fresh, delicious food. The small portions may leave you wanting more, but the flavors are on point. The coconut rice is a must-try and the green curry is highly recommended. Prices may be on the higher side for the serving sizes, but the overall dining experience is enjoyable. The decor transports you to Southeast Asia, adding to the ambiance. While there are some inconsistencies with dishes like bland soups or salty broths, the attentive service and quality food make Thai Mekong a worthwhile visit.
