This restaurant is a great find with fresh and delicious food served by friendly staff. However, I would suggest that they offer smaller portion sizes as three eggs with bacon/hashbrowns and pancakes is too much food for many diners. It's unfortunate to see food go to waste. Additionally, they should consider adding a 'side pancake' option to their menu. View all feedback.
What Manuela Krauß doesn't like about Sunset Grill:
I travel a lot and was down in Oakville Ontario at a sunset grill, so when I saw that St Albert had one I was so exited to have the food here. I arrived in the restaurant only to find the foreign staff members sprawled across the booths arguing with each other and distributing utensils, very odd, I ordered the food and it was second rate, will definitely not be returning View all feedback.

I visited Sunset Grill this morning for the first time and tried the French Connection breakfast. It came with 3 eggs, hash browns, a choice of bacon, ham, or sausage, and 2 slices of thick French toast. I chose sausages and was pleasantly surprised to receive four! The French toast was delicious and you can choose from white, brown, or rye bread. The portions were generous for the price of $13.99 and the service was excellent. I also enjoyed the tasty coffee. I will definitely be returning, especially since they open at 6 am and offer takeout. My friend and I both loved our experience and will be back for breakfast or brunch in the future.
A friend and I had breakfast here and it was great. Moderate price for the Pea Meal Bacon and Eggs. Lots of potatoes, 3 thick slices of bacon, wow. Fast and friendly.
We go there for breakfast every Sunday mourning. The service is outstanding and the breakfasts are also very good. We have been going here ever since they opened and never once and had never had to ask for a coffee refill because they were always there when we have only a half cup of coffee. Staff are super friendly and make you feel they have known you for years whether you are a regular or first time frequenter. They are open for breakfast and lunch and close at 4:00 pm.
