What Ken B doesn't like about Pisa Pizza & Pasta:
My lovely wife had a craving for pizza. A good pizza. Wanting to venture outside the known, she Googled “good pizza in St. Albert” and thinking we we heard Pisa Pizza was good, that was our choice. We sent the spawn to go pick it up. We waited eagerly for his return. Long story short, we will never order pizza from Pisa Pizza again. The crust had the consistency and taste of cardboard. I get pizza from PIsa PIzza all the time and it's absolutely delicious. A small pizza can be ready in less than 15 minutes after you order, and the prices are incredibly low. Don't let the low prices fool you, though-the quality is as good as any you'll find in St. Albert, and it's a locally-owned family business. If you're on a budget, want to support local business and/or want a high quality dining experience, Pisa Pizza's a great choice!
Im always surprised by the amazing Cheese Fingers at Pisa Piza. Delicious seasoning, cheesy, and great donair dipping sauce. If you are looking for the best cheese bread in the Edmonton area, come to PISA! SO good. NOTE* make sure you eat them hot, they are best when fresh!

We sent the spawn to go pick it up. We waited eagerly for his return. Long story short, we will never order pizza from Pisa Pizza again. The crust had the consistency and taste of cardboard. The toppings were mediocre (Greek and BBQ Chicken). We would have done better with frozen Dr. Oetker from Safeway. Our spawn who eats anything and everything even commented on how bad this pizza was.
First of all I really want to say that I never enjoy writing a less than positive review. If my review is not good it means that I have been treated badly, ate something I was did not like or was in some other way less than impressed with something and when that happens you never feel good. Hubs and I were craving some pizza, so we googled stone baked pizza in St Albert and Pisa Pizza and Pasta was the top result. The experience started out well. I called in the order, was not put on hold, had my order taken immediately and was told it woyld be ready for pick up in 10 mins. 10 mins?! Holy ****! We thought: wow thats quick! So off hubs went to get our circular treasures. We had ordered the larges and upon opening the somewhat smaller than expected boxes, we found smaller than expected pizzas. Perhaps they looked so small because the crusts were super thick and easily the dough coukd have been stretched out more. The crust around the circumference of the pie was huge. So big, in fact, that the sauce was at least 2 inches in from the outside of the pizza and pooled in blobs. The cheese anf toppings were about another 1-1.5 inches in from where the sauce was pooled. The toppings did look and taste fresh, so that is a good thing, but the super thick crust was not cooked all the way through at its thickest spots and had a gummy look and texture. The bottom of the pizza had zero support and the bit we ate could not be held intact but rather more successfully consumed via knife and fork (we are NOT knife and fork pizza people). There was no cheesey, stringy pulling apart of slices with this pizza. I'm sure there are people out there that enjoy this kind of pizza. We, however, are not. The service was great, but to our great disappointment, the pizzas were not. We were expecting the pizza pictured on the website. Revisiting the website afterward we noticed there was a thin crust option and are now pondering whether what is pictured on the site IS in fact the thin crust. It looks like a regular pizza and what we got was practically deep dish so who knows. Either way, my hubs ended up eating the toppings off both pizzas after I gave a slice a try and then threw away two almost complete large toppingless pizzas. We won't be ordering pizza from Pisa again, but if you are a thick crust lover and like your pizza chewy then give them some business. It just isn't the place for us.
