Service was slow and the place was not clean. Avoid!

Waitress cam... read more After my wife and I bought a Groupon coupon featuring a Burrito & Margarita combination for two people we went to the restaurant to try their food. Waitress came to seat us right away and pointed out a table for two where we proceeded to be seated. She did not return for quite awhile and in the mean time we had to change tables to the sticky dirty nature of our first table choice. Finally she returned and we gave her our Groupon coupon and she stated she would have to go back to the kitchen for verification of the coupon. We waited quite awhile for her to return and finally when she did she stated that we would probably want to order extra food due to the small nature of the Burrito. We questioned this and she stated it was not the regular sized Burrito but a small version. The coupon did not mention we were being downsized and we told her to disregard our order because we were leaving. After checking with Groupon we discovered that Taco Bill had actually cashed in our voucher after serving us NOTHING which basically makes them thieves. This is definately a place to AVOID!

Avocado Del Mar Menu says Prawn and Scallops(plural) As literally 1 scalop for the dish and 6/7 crugs and whole skin served left on avocado when I told waitress that we were hoping for more than 1 scaloping, she told me it's pure luck for scalop/prawn ratio this means in the unlikely event that I returned and ordered the rest of the dish we could have 1 crug and the rest of the dish? It was the first time and we've been happy for a long time, surprising how rude waitress was and I had to continue asking for drinks instead of being offered. As a paying customer, I expect unapologetic that my glass is kept full. When I re-ordered drinks waitress gave impression, it was an inconvenience. Margarita on rock $11 as bill was printed $12 per margin. My culinary experience ended with showing the waitress the right price and getting the bill reprinted, no excuse no recognition, and above all I had spent a considerable amount of food and drinks that were bad. If the service was better, I would have overlooked the inconvenience in the menu.

The margaritas are watered down and the sangri... read more This is the worst Taco Bill experience I have ever had. Had to ask 3 times for the complimentary salsa and chips. The margaritas are watered down and the sangria is undrinkable. Not age check was done re my daughter and alcohol doubt they have the required RSA knowledge While it might be half price night that shouldn’t extend to the service nor the menu with no seafood availability at all. The restaurant was filled with uncleared tables and food spilt on the floor. The staff need training in upselling as I wasn’t offered a second drink and then when it finally came was delivered to the wrong diner. Also they have no ability to see what needed to be done and our dirty plates have been here for quite a while. No quality checks on how the meal is have been done. The amount of onion in one dish was extreme and what little meat was there er was overdone and tough. Final words don’t bother!! It has deteriorated to such an extent we won’t be back and had been here several times previously

I just wish there was more guacamole on my quesadilla. I would recommend going when they have half price main dishes. The customer service was also excellent. Overall, it was a lovely evening.

We especially enjoyed the nachos, stuffed jalapeños, tacos and quesadillas. The cocktails were great too! Highly recommend if you’re looking for an authentic Mexican meal.
