The Saddlery has recently come under new management and I can say that my recent trip found the menu extended and I have no complaints whatsoever with the service and quality of food. If you've had a bad experience in the past I would recommend you give it another go. View all feedback.
What Elaine T doesn't like about The Saddlery Cafe (at Osprey St Albans):
We were charged £12 for a very small American, a small latte and 1 slice of thin sough dough with butter!!! Why???? My husband was too shocked and embarrassed to question the bill View all feedback.
Great food, very accommodating to gluten free and lovely atmosphere. Saffron was very attentive!
Fabulous service and even better food. Staff are very attentive and Saffron was more than happy to cater to dietary requirements. Decor is cosy and perfect for the rainy day Highly recommend!

Good coffee and cake. On the day I went there card machine wasn't working so it was cash only. Also it took quite a long time to get served, as it wasn't clear whether you're meant to wait at the table for someone to come and take your order, or if you're meant to go to the counter. In the end someone came but only after I managed to get the attention of a passing server.
