The Malta - St Albans

As someone unfamiliar with the area, I looked up places to take my elderly aunt and father for lunch and the TripAdvisor reviews led me to the Malta, which offered delicious food at a reasonable price. What a charming, traditional pub with incredibly warm staff and customers. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced, the ambiance was delightful, and Tasha provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. She even managed to get a dessert for my aunt that wasn't listed on the menu! The establishment was also impeccably clean. Thank you for a delightful lunch experience, I will certainly be back when I am in the area again.

The breakfast was really fantastic. The pub itself is charming and even stays open during construction. Highly recommend.

As a frequent customer of this restaurant, I have dined here many times. Our go-to dishes are usually the breakfast or liver and bacon. The breakfast is excellent, as shown in the picture. My dad, who was previously not a fan of liver, now enjoys it after trying it here. I have included photos of the menu and the delicious food we were served. I highly recommend paying a visit, as you will not be disappointed.

I had breakfast at Malta on March 25th and it was a revisit for me. I must say, the overall experience of service, food, and price was fantastic once again! The food was top quality, the service was great, and the value was excellent. I will definitely be returning on a regular basis. I even got to see Julia putting up 70th Birthday banners for a private afternoon tea party. Well done, guys!

Only place I will go to get a breakfast super fast. Such good friendly service and the food gorgeous!!!!
