Great stop for easy snacks and cake, perfect when they just went around the head. also a small visitor center for the nature reserve
Large small caffe with beautiful outside seat on the grass. has simple eating like roasted sandwiches and coat potatoes. coffee was also good.

If people can show respect for the measures we all must endure during COVID—especially for those working in potentially hazardous environments—I would highly recommend the Old Smiddy. There are plenty of outdoor tables to enjoy your meal, and it's just a short walk to St. Abbs for a pleasant outing!
This is a lovely spot to enjoy a tea or coffee, or grab a quick sandwich. However, it can be closed at times, so be sure to check their hours before you go.
The food is standard but of good quality, and the tea is delightful. The service is exceptional.
