The Manhattan Fish Market

We had an incredibly delicious meal with beautifully presented dishes at this restaurant. Highly recommend trying it out. However, the parking space is limited. The interior is lovely and the seating areas are decent.

I visited Manhattan for the first time after the pandemic restrictions were lifted. There have been significant changes to the menu, with many new options featuring local flavors. Unfortunately, on the day of my visit, all grilled items were unavailable and had to be substituted with Manhattan Bottles. The dish I ordered had fewer seafood ingredients than before, with an increased amount of rice. My total order came to approximately LKR 6200, which included a flaming plate, a peach ice tea, and a bottle of water. Despite the changes, I had a good experience overall and appreciated that the taste remained consistent.

Ambience none of the air conditioning systems on this side (rajagiriya, sri lanka the usual excuse that is used on the manhattan fish market that the ones under maintenance, so why open them and work. close it one or two days and repair. if they go into this situation, make sure that the air conditioning is repaired or otherwise, they always give the same excuse.

This is a nice place to relax and the staff were friendly. The food was good, although it was a bit pricey. We visited on a Sunday evening and found that many menu items were not available, as they mentioned they would be changing the menu soon. We had to settle for what they had on offer. Additionally, we had some trouble with their card machine which kept declining my card, so we had to withdraw cash from an ATM instead.

The rajagiriya branch is well maintained. The seafood was very fresh. Our table was waited by noorul who was a very pleasant host who unlike many waiters had knowledge about the menu. Would visit again. Value for money.
