Eagle's Nest Resort - Squinas 2

Whenever I am in Anahim Lake, I always make sure to visit the Eagles Nest restaurant. The staff is amazing, but be sure to call ahead for reservations. I really enjoy the view of the lake through the glass window. The atmosphere is peaceful, beautiful, and incredibly romantic. The food is delicious, especially during the summer months. I highly recommend stopping by this small, charming gem in Anahim.

I had contacted the resort a head of time to inform them that I was vegetarian, and they were extremely accommodating, providing great meals.

Lovely dining area, large windows with view, antiques linens make it special. However, the meal was so-so with few vegetables lacklustre meat. High priced for mediocre fare. Friendly server/manager. I had curried butternut soup which was ok and the Schnitzel a bit better but with barely cooked large pieces of carrot a few cooked slices of red yellow peppers.

The owner is very friendly and welcoming. The food is outstanding and reasonably priced. It was a pleasant surprise to discover such a great restaurant in a remote location. The selection of BC wines is also excellent.

The food was expertly crafted and incredibly tasty. The chef was very attentive to catering to specific dietary needs.
