Mag's99 Fried Chicken And Mexican Cantina

We stopped here on our way to Shannon Falls on the recommendation of our son who lives locally. The food was excellent, very tasty and generous portions. I can recommend this as a fast food venue.

Casual diner style restaurant - be prepared for a bit of a wait as everything is made to order. I tried the fried chicken, which had a flavorful crispy batter with a bit of a cajun spice to it. Chicken was a bit overcooked to my taste, but the crispy, tasty batter made up for it. I also had a ribeye taco which was delicious (favourite thing I tried) - the steak was juicy and plentiful

Service sucks! Left without getting our food after waiting almost an hour because they decided that our order was too long and that it was easier on them to serve other people, people who arrived and ordered well after us. Asked why others were be served first. I was advised that since our order was much bigger it was taking longer to fill. When I asked why didn't they serve in order the order was placed, and if they focused on filling the orders in the order received they wouldn't have this issue, he shrugged and walked away.Never have had such shoddy treatment ever! If you are a group of more than 3 people please stay away because you will be waiting for your food for at least twice as long as they say. Because smaller orders are easier to fill.

Good mexican food, I'll recommend the burritos and chimichangas. You have to order some mexifries too.

I went for lunch to have some fried chicken n frieds with my gf , as a friend of ours suggested trying the chicken as it didn't have a lot of grease like kfc n loved it n I will go back again n next time I will call a head n make my order then my gf and I can just pick up n be on our way , lovely food will come back again
