Cordelia's Locket Cafe - Squamish

The cocktails in cordelia are great. they have an excellent variety, probably the best in squamish, and are original. it is great to have such a selection of good cocktails close to home. all tables or almost all have a fantastic view of the chief. it is a great “drink with a look” spot. Unfortunately, eating was disappointing, and the quality did not correspond to the price. the duck cover was very dry, and it seems as if it was cooked 2 or 3 times and reheated. the braided short rib was good. it had a good balance of aromen and was not overly rich in taste. next time I will order it again. one of the other tables ordered a charcuterie board that looked amazing. If you look at Cordelia's, you should order the charcuterie board. it looks really great.

I was trying to try this place for one. it is in a beautiful location with an amazing view. the restaurant is small but open with many windows, so it is beautiful and bright. unfortunately it was too cold for the terrace (which was not furnished), so we sat inside. Although some tables were open, we sat on one table hidden behind a high edge, so it was dark and not much of a view. no pleasant atmosphere and very disappointing. the biggest decline was the service. when I first came in, no greeting, no smile. the woman behind the bar stared at me in the round and said nothing until I asked if I could get a table. it felt uncomfortable and uninviting. once sat, there was no explanation of how happy hour worked and which mixed drinks were included. no explanation of what the mixed drinks included were even and they were not on the beverage menu so had no idea whether they were drinks I order or not. when she asked for crying, she felt annoyed instead of finding out what kind of wee would correspond to my drink taste. no check-in to see how the wine or eating tasted. their interactions seemed jammed and hastened. the only attempt of entertainment was when the bill was paid that felt phone and as if she wanted to get a good tipp. when they go to a higher restaurant where the prices are more expensive, I expect a first class service and this place did not deliver. Although I came to the restaurant, which felt excited and excited, I let myself feel disappointed and naked. there are so many great restaurants in squamish, I will not come back soon.

Loved this sweet little restaurant, the inside had such a wonderful mood. the French wobbly soup was incredible, but the risotto was pretty dirty. drinks were beautiful and our waitress was also great. will be coming back in any case!

We had a great time during the Christmas celebration of our company. chef richard has prepared a delicious 5-course menu and we enjoyed every bite. as a bus small entrepreneur myself, I guess how kelly and her team took care of all the details in advance, feed and drinks menus, a gold leaf special request for desert, photographer. everything we have to do is show up and celebrate the season. I was really excited about trying this restaurant as the menu looked great online. We had a reservation for 7:30 pm and were not seated until 8:10 pm. At 7:55 pm we asked the waitress if we could get round of drinks while we were waiting. Unfortunately, It took another 25 minutes to receive one round of drinks. At that point, we decided to leave. I feel like perhaps they are understaffed, but regardless the service was poor. I gave this review two stars because the ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful and unique.
