Just had Mothers Day brunch here, and I actually said aloud “this might be my new favorite breakfast place”. Our server, Jenny, was phenomenal!!! We had a group of 12 and the kids were picky, indecisive and rambunctious, and Jenny was so patient and understanding throughout. She got everyone’s order perfect, and checked in often (but not too often! to make sure we had everything we needed. The menu is creative and th... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tutti Frutti Breakfast Lunch:
our reservation started at 12. got a waiter in about 15 min. food did not come for an hour. It was busy, but should food take an hour to get to our table. the food was good when it finally arrive. Don't go unless you have a ot of time View all feedback.
I ordered takeout and went to pick it up, paying in cash. My total came to around $20, so I handed the cashier $30. Instead of just giving me my change, she asked if I wanted it, which isn't the usual procedure—she should have simply said she would return with it. When she came back, she only handed me $2.25 and walked away, which is far from the correct change from $30. I had planned to give her a tip based on the service when she brought my change, but the way this was handled felt like they were trying to keep the tip for themselves, which seemed dishonest. I waited a few minutes for her to come back so I could clarify the situation, but she never returned, so I left. To make matters worse, there were no utensils or napkins included in the bag.
The dining experience at this restaurant was quite average. I went there on a Saturday, so it was understandably busy, yet we ended up waiting around 20 minutes before anyone came to take our drink orders. I get that it's a hectic time, but I think management should consider hiring additional staff. Moreover, the waitstaff didn’t check in on us during our meal, and we weren’t offered any coffee refills. Although I recognize it was a chaotic environment, it's evident that there are some issues that need to be addressed. The pictures on the menu looked appetizing, but when our food finally arrived, the portion of fruit was quite disappointing. In total, it took nearly two hours to complete our meal, and I had to ask the waitress for refills and for the bill.
We had a reservation for 12 PM, but we ended up waiting around 15 minutes for a waiter to take our order. Unfortunately, it took an hour for our food to finally arrive. Although the restaurant was busy, I believe an hour is too long to wait for food. When our meal did come, it was quite delicious. However, I would suggest only going there if you have plenty of time to spare.
2. The menu had very few options for waffles or pancakes, which mostly came with a bunch of extra items. 3. I ordered the bacon grilled cheese benedict, and it was disappointing: the toast was both soggy and burnt, the cheese wasn't melted, and the hollandaise sauce lacked flavor. The shredded hash browns could have been crispier as well. 4. The milkshakes were warm and watery, but thankfully my kids didn’t seem to mind. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. There are much better options in Spruce Grove for all-day breakfast, with more diverse menus, better service, and higher-quality food.
I will not be going back to this restaurant. Even though there were only two other customers during our visit, we had to wait over 10 minutes just to get water. The place was dirty and disorganized. Our food tasted like it had been left in a warmer for hours; the eggs were rubbery and the bacon was extremely tough. The milkshakes we ordered were more like flavored water than anything else. Overall, I am very disappointed.
