I absolutely LOVE this sushi place. The atmosphere and music in the restaurant is soothing and quiet. The menu is small yet mighty. I truly enjoyed the 6 shots of different sake and if you do decided to try this place out… get the spider roll. IT IS ADORABLE. View all feedback.
What Steve doesn't like about Sakai Sushi:
Decent Japanese food in spruce Grove. Everything was pretty good but I didn't like the beef tataki. The beef bowl was pretty good with rice. We also ordered sashimi and tempura and a bunch of cones and rolls. Some of the rolls can be pricey though. Came out to $270 for three adults and two small kids but we did order some beers. Avoid the wasabi caesar at any cost. It was bland tomato juice with a salt/pepper rim. No spice, no flavour, and as far as I could tell no alcohol. The food was fresh, tiny, but fresh. Not bad.The interior was clean, and stylish.
Recently had sushi on the Vancouver coast and this place was far superior! The Yakinuku was excellent. Highly recommend!
This is a really great quality sushi restaurant ! Food was outstanding, fresh, quality ingredients, and lots of variety. Service was prompt and friendly. They could use a better beer selection to go with the food, but still worth the visit. It's definitely the best sushi I've found in Spruce Grove.

By far one of the best Japanese restaurant around. You will not be disappointed. It’s even better than many restaurants in Vancouver. Owners are friendly, restaurant has a modern atmosphere. Very clean. We have been there in many occasions and we always walk out very happy.Presentation and taste of sushi, sashimi, tempura and appetizers are 10/10. Gotta a try ika yaki (grilled squid). My favourite.Maybe stay away from karaage chicken…did not taste authentic.
