Unfortunately, the price level has increased in recent years in a way that is not justified by the difficult conditions and is in no proportion to the proper quality of the courts. For example, from June 2020 to January 2024, the price for the thank you menu has increased from €24.00 to €33.90 (i.e. about 41 %, i.e. about 12 % per year) for the “Hummer – Number” on Friday from €29.00 to €44.90 (i.e. about 55 %, i.e. around 16 % per year) and for Sunday – “Müffet” from €4.00 to €34.90 (i. Comparison: The consumer price index rose by just under 17% in the same period, i.e. by about 4% per year, and the average gross income of (depending) guests only by just under 12 % since 2020, i.e. by about 3 % per year. It would be nice if Mr Eggers would try to make a fair pricing that is in a reasonable relationship with the economic framework. Whether a guest whose income has risen by only 12 % since 2020 is willing to accept price increases between 40 and 55 % for Mr Eggers' food remains to be expected.
