W... read more Don 't know why but I came in with low expectations. Maybe being in a resort setting and me thinking captive audience, maybe you don 't have to try too hard . We were looking for a place we could relax, see the lake, and enjoy a simple meal in a localcafe setting. I was pleasantly surprised. Staff was very pleasant, setting outside on the deck was very relaxing andbeautiful. The food really stood out, flavorful and very well prepared from fresh ingredients it really topped off a greatexperience. The only thing that struck me (as a Yankee where it seems like whole areas of our county are non-smoking) was thatthere are places where dining and smoking mix together. We were able to shift a couple times to get up wind and I get that itis a different world and culture and when in Rome , so we would have gone inside (non-smoking) if necessary. Just an FYI forothers from up this way. If you are in the Clarksville area and looking for a day-trip of exploring the LBL area, I don 't thinkyou would go far wrong planning your lunch stop at Oak Tree.
