I visited this restaurant for the first time while passing through. I tried the bourbon wings, and they were decent. When dipped in ranch, they become incredible! The wings are quite large. The seasoning on the fries is delicious, but it can be a bit salty. The staff here are very friendly.
Jack's has always been known for having the best biscuits and gravy, but my experience today was disappointing. The biscuits were incredibly hard, even with gravy, making them inedible – they tasted like they had been sitting out since yesterday. As for the sausage, there was none to be found. After one bite, I ended up throwing it away. The tater tots were decent, but overall, it felt like a huge waste of money and time.
This was my first visit to Jack’s. We noticed it several times while driving and decided to give it a shot. I’m not usually a big fan of fast food, but we wanted something quick. The burger was just average; one of the patties was unevenly placed and hung over the edge of the bun. The sides lacked flavor and were quite bland. To make matters worse, the sweet tea self-service dispenser was empty, so we had to wait for a refill before we could leave. Overall, the food was decent and the service was somewhat quick, but I can’t say that the experience would entice me to return.
