Went for a celebration dinner. It wasn?t very busy so we got seated quickly. Our waitress took our drink order and gave us some time to look over the menu. I and my accomplice ordered the chicken penne pasta. The pasta needed more flavor, so I added a bit of salt. The sitting arrangement of the restaurant is quite interesting. The tables are round and not spacious enough for two people. If you enjoy going out to have... View all feedback.
What Steven Hunter doesn't like about Whiskey Tango:
We order the Tango steak It was very bland. The only thing that was very good that we had were the oysters Rockefeller. And the angel here Pasta was shrimp was decent.2 1/2-3 stars. Was not worth the $125 we spent. View all feedback.
The smoked old fashioned was outstanding. I ordered the blackened chicken Alfredo, and it was excellent as well. The only drawback was that they had run out of Buffalo Trace and Weller's bourbon.
We ordered the Tango steak, but it was quite bland. The highlight of our meal was the oysters Rockefeller, which were excellent. The angel hair pasta with shrimp was decent, but overall, I would rate the experience at 2.5 to 3 stars. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth the $125 we spent.
This is a fantastic spot to relax with friends for drinks or a meal. The atmosphere is eclectic, featuring unique seating and tables. The food was delightful, and our server was friendly and offered great wine recommendations. Overall, I really enjoyed this place and will definitely return.
Great place to have a nice dinner- good food, service, atmosphere and I especially appreciated the music level conducive to having conversation along with a great meal.
The coolest atmosphere in Springfield, MO. When I walked in for a late night drink, we were greeted with friendly staff and an amazing atmosphere. There are spaces and different styles of sections. It was a beautiful collaboration of industrial aerospace, 1930's, modern meets Victorian, and handcrafted wood elements. The vibe was a beautiful open space with your own little nook. You could be in a cozy booth to overlook the restaurant, high-top tables in the middle, or on the elevated center stage that has beautiful tiles that remind you of the 1930s with brass stools.Okay, I loved the space. Can you tell? The drinks were delicious! I'm grateful for their friendly service and suggestions on what to get for my friends. We had a great time! They also had a really amazing singer too. I'm sure he is going to he famous, because he has an amazing voice and great enthusiasm.I haven't had the food yet, but I can't wait to go back!
