Veronica's Bakery Cafe - Springfield

My wife ordered the lomo saltado, a dish of seasoned and marinated pork with fries and white rice, which was delicious and well-presented. I opted for the lomo a lo pobre, featuring a flavorful flank steak, fries, white rice, chopped eggplant, and roasted plantains. The portions were generous, served on disposable plates and with flimsy plastic utensils, but given the affordable prices of under $10 per dish, it was a small drawback. While the pupusas were not the best we've had, the overall dining experience was enjoyable and worthwhile. We will definitely be returning customers at this restaurant.
