Coffee was okay not the greatest. Service was okay. I went there primarily because the hotel I stayed at right next door told me that there was a discount for hotel customers. I found that was not the case and would have been served just as well by going to the waffle house across the street and having a greater variety to choose from.

I ordered an assortment of eggs, bacon, sausage, and at 44 years old, I found myself surprised at the short stack of pancakes that was placed in front of me. To my surprise the food was just as great as the homey appeal to the family owned diner, and much better than I've had in a long time. The literal signs of encouragement hanging throughout the restaurant was just as kind as the modest staff. Pleasurable to say the least from this Yankee from the North.

We wanted to avoid the crowds at other places and thought this spot would offer some classic options. The food was outstanding! I had the ham steak with eggs, potatoes (I opted for the home fries instead of hash browns), and homemade bread. I chose the cinnamon raisin toast, and it was delicious! The slices were massive! Everything was fantastic, and my wife and I even wondered why we don't come here more often. My wife ordered the tenderloin, which was also large and very flavorful! The service was excellent; the coffee was always topped off, and our waitress was very attentive. The food was so good that I completely forgot to take a photo before starting!
