What Regan Goolsby doesn't like about Queen City Soul Kitchen:
Ordered $60 worth of food and it was COLD. This isn’t soul food. The catfish fillets were the size of a pinky finger. No meat in the collard greens. The Mac and cheese had no flavor. The green beans tasted sour. The bread pudding sauce was coagulated. The meatloaf was mush and ketchup. How is pineapple cheesecake salty? Wasn’t worth the experience. Won’t be ordering here again. They were unexpectedly short on staff that day and Rick did a great job keeping things moving. The food was delicious and exactly what we were craving. I ordered the catfish with collard greens and spaghetti. My family tried the Mac n cheese, smothered chicken, peach cobbler and yams and we were very satisfied with it all!Heads up, not a lot of seating inside. There are two tables outside. If the back side coffee is closed, the food part might still be open so don’t be turned away driving by, since it’s tucked away and looks like a drive through bank.
This was an AWESOME place to eat! The people working there we're great people with great hospitality and the food was FANTASTIC!
I'm just going to let the picture speak for itself. It's the real deal.
