Reviews - Panera Bread
Reviews summary
Panera offers a variety of delicious options, but recent feedback highlights concerns over portion sizes and pricing. Patrons often find the "pick 2" combos and soups disappointingly small, with some dishes lacking key ingredients. Despite the high cost—sometimes nearing $40 for just a couple of meals—customers appreciate the friendly service and clean atmosphere. Favorites like the broccoli cheese soup and chipotle chicken flatbread keep diners returning, but many express a desire for better value. However, exceptional customer service, particularly during order mix-ups, adds a positive note to the dining experience, keeping loyal fans hopeful for improvements.
Was Anonym at Panera Bread a mag?
We don't have a Panera Bread in West Plains, so this is a special treat for us. Bought some fresh bread and bagels to take back with us. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Panera Bread:
Went in and ordered a you pick 2 which consisted of a half cup of broccoli cheddar soup and a half toasted Italiano sandwich, plus a regular drink. It was going to cost $20. I refused to pay that much for a half sandwich and a half cup of soup and walked out. Not a happy camper!! I used to enjoy eating at Panera! Meal type: Dinner View all feedback.

I ordered an item using the app to come to the drive through. When I got there a few minutes later they said they were sold out, even though I had reserved one. It wasn’t a busy time of the day either. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

I just have to say this: why is the bread so hard? You could seriously knock someone out with it! I have strong teeth, no cavities, and yet biting into that bread was painful—no exaggeration. I wouldn't be surprised if others have lost a tooth because of it. Don’t get me wrong, the flavors are really good, especially for fast food, and I wish I could visit more often. But it’s a tough choice between enjoying the flavor and dealing with the pain, or opting for Burger King, which I wouldn't enjoy at all.
Food portion is getting smaller and prices are increasing. Only the unlimited sip is what's getting me to go there. Thirst trap. The workers and manager are very nice but the food quality is not!!
Super pricey for the quantity of food you get. We ordered two pick 2 combos to-go for lunch and it was almost $40. When I opened the bag I was shocked how small the portions looked. The “turkey bacon avocado” sandwich had no avocado on it either. The taste of the food is good, but I definitely can’t justify spending that kind of money for it.
Went through the drive thru and order a sweet tea- wasn’t sweet. Ordered 6 bagels- they only gave us 5. Overall wasn’t impressed
Worse sandwich today. Bagel.over toasted, one slice of bacon, completley dry. Second sandwich was wrong. And service never applogized for the order that was wrong. Instead pointed out what the receipt stated. Sorry ur girl at the counter didnt get it right. 2 breakfast andwiches and 1 small drink for 22.00. Einstein bagels next time.

I ordered delivery a bagel pack and a family dinner, door dash forgot part of my order but when I called Michael answered and was very helpful he found the rest of my order and said one of the managers would delivered to my house, Sam delivered in less than 15 minutes. They were amazing they even threw in a Pastry Ring. Thank you so much you made my day. Thank you
After spending $40 for two you pick two meals and my $7 sandwich comes with three pieces of meat that don't even cover the bread. And the side salad with no meat on it that was still $5. I understand food costs are high but when I can go out to a sit-down restaurant and pay the same amount with tip as I do for food at Panera and at least have leftovers from that that's not really worth it. Everyone was super friendly though.
Don’t order the teriyaki bowl, you’ll only get half of what you pay for. Chicken was also extremely fatty, like all the left over pieces that weren’t considered “up to snuff” were thrown into the bowl. Will not be ordering this again.
I absolutely adore Image 2, especially when I use my $2 rewards. The broccoli cheese soup is consistently delicious. My new favorite is the chipotle chicken flatbread.
