Mcalister's Deli - Springfield

The best veggie burger I've ever had! I usually shy away from ordering veggie burgers when dining out because they often come frozen. However, this place prepares them fresh using beans as the main ingredient. They are a bit pricey, but I expected that given the airport location. The other family members enjoyed hamburgers and a chicken sandwich, all of which were delicious. It was a nice surprise to find such quality food in an airport setting!

It's no longer a McAlister's, but the food is quite good!

We absolutely love McAlister's, but we no longer live close to any locations, so it was a delightful surprise to find one here. The food was just as delicious as we remembered, and the sweet tea was perfectly smooth. The staff were diligent and very friendly. We highly recommend it!

Avoid this restaurant and eat elsewhere. The service is excruciatingly slow when it comes to food orders. If you make the mistake of ordering food here, be prepared to constantly remind the staff every five minutes about your order, or else they might forget you're even there and what you've ordered.

Typically, I have a positive experience at this location. However, the service tends to slow down during busy times, which I’ve noticed is common in many airport restaurants. The seating area is quite spacious. I've mostly opted for pre-made food items, and they are generally satisfactory.
