Wow, this place is fantastic! Joey's represents my perfect idea of pizza: a thick, well-cooked crust, loads of cheese, a light layer of tomato sauce, and a generous... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Joey's Pizza:
I've heard a lot about this place, so my daughter and I decided to check it out on January 14, 2023. However, the person at the counter was very rude! They told us they were out of pizza, which was really disappointing. View all feedback.
A friend of ours recommended this place. Otherwise, we would have never tried it due to the appearance. It seems to be very popular. It definitely needs some renovation. Good pizza though.
This place doesn't look like much, but they have really good pizza and reasonable prices. I just order it to go because it's not the most comfortable place to hang out.
We love the pizza at Joey's. They will bake it the way we like it if we ask. It always has so much cheese and toppings on it. More than most places for the money. Their daily last name initial sale is about half price on a pizza and we love that idea. It is every month so we go on our letter day. As for having to buy extra salad dressing for my pizza, who cares. It’s for my pizza not my salad, which is only a dollar for the whole salad with dressing. Their ranch dressing is the best we ever ate. They have free foil for our left overs. We like that. They fit in the frig. better anyway. We usually have all our family birthday parties there too. They have plates for us to use so we don't have to buy extra stuff. That really helps. And they heep our ice cream in the freezer for us which we appreciate. Sometimes they are too busy there but it's worth a wait for the price for sure and some employees are not obnoxious at all. They know our name and are friendly every time we eat there. We really like the Joey's pizza salads too. They are really a good price for the meat on them. The best in town. We eat in a lot of places.
My parents started going to Joey's since it first opened, which was before I was born and I am 23 now. They have the best pizza of any place I have been to. They use light sauce, which is perfect for me, and lots of cheese. Me being the cheese lover that I am, can get my fill and even be too much sometimes from the amount that they put on. The crust is amazing! It is super crispy and never burnt. The pepperoni is always cooked on top, making it crispy too, which is the best way to eat it. It is all of the wonderful things about pizza that I enjoy, rolled into one restaurant. Their salads are also extremely fresh and always good. They do charge for little things, such as a box and salad dressing, which normally annoys me, but their prices are very low, and it never bothers me there. I generally only go there during lunch time, as the owner is working. If you go at night, there are a bunch of obnoxious teens working, who are rude and usually screw up the order somehow, by not reading the entire ticket. It really depends on when you go and who is working as to how good it will be. But, if you go when the owner is working, it is perfect. I have never had an issue, and if I have to send anything back, I come back and talk to the owner, who will compensate for the problems readily, and it is obvious that he appreciates his customers and wants them to come back, therefore is very helpful.
This is the best pizza in town or anywhere. Letter nights are awesome. Cheapest beer in town and good salads. The crapper is that the joint looks like a hole and is dirty. They run out of pizza all the time.
