I am very unhappy with the new renovation work on ebbets field. ebbets used to be a place where most college children could go to dinner and drink and the bank... read more I am very unhappy with the new renovation work on ebbets field. ebbets used to be a place where most college children could go to dinner and drink and the bank could not break. wings rose to 10 dollars, there are no pizzas anymore (which were there for 23 years) the memory of what ebbets everything is insulting and not what ebbets was, beer pitcher went up, wing sauces are terrible (no buffalo sauce should taste like zimt). they stopped taking care of the history of ebbets. it is ebbets field from a ground named after a famous baseball field. Previously a place to go to springfield cardinals games with names of life means in connection with baseball, which obviously no longer a thing. ebbets was like my second home in springfield. it was a place where a whole group of friends could go and no problem could hang up. I am incredibly sad and will not come back until I can afford it one day. I will miss it, but appreciate the memories I had on the real ebbets field, not this fake brand version of it.

With a birthday party of 30. eating lots of space on the back terrace was good- the eating it did. server took drink order, brought drinks some requested apps,... read more With a birthday party of 30. eating lots of space on the back terrace was good- the eating it did. server took drink order, brought drinks some requested apps, but never back to take food orders. from then on we had to write our own orders and order our own drinks from the bar. server ended with the work in the middle of our time, there was not back. of all that we have ordered, 30% of the orders never occurred. when it was time to pay out, the staff could not produce all taken, so we expected to give them all our orders all together so that they could ring them. I've never had worse service since decades. Unfortunately, because we heard it was a great place. I notice that restaurants are busy, but a big party should be worth the effort if nothing else, for the tips. big thumbs of us our multi-family party on this place. never back. if properly done, our orders would simply have about $500 with $100 in tipps total. the possibility is lost.

Three of us went there on a Saturday night. we were the only patrons in the bar and we ordered 2 burgers and a grilled cheese. it took an hour and 15 minutes to... read more Three of us went there on a Saturday night. we were the only patrons in the bar and we ordered 2 burgers and a grilled cheese. it took an hour and 15 minutes to serve. the grilled cheese was ice cold, it literally looked like someone had taken two pieces of white brot, it did not roast and let tostitos queso dive between the brot. even worse, the cheese smells mad/red. none of the burgers was made right (one had the extra patty they demanded) and tasted dry and bad. all the wobble rings were burned so badly that they were hard and insensitive. to the happiness the server has put together all our food, so we only had to pay for the drinks. incredibly disappointing I would not recommend going here for dinner and I don't want to go back.

After 15 minutes I went to go find our drinks and saw them sitting on the bar. I helped our server bring them to our table and shortly after our food came out. I had to once again leave the table so I could ask someone for napkins. My wife had a salad and none of the pre rolled silverware had forks. Food was okay. Pre-breaded frozen onion rings on my burger for example.
