It tasted noticeably different from the usu... read more My wife is quite discerning when it comes to meals, and she was particularly impressed with Charlie's fried catfish. It tasted noticeably different from the usual fried fish, possibly because the oil used was incredibly clean and almost had a sweet quality to it. I chose the grilled seafood platter, and without a doubt, it was the best I've ever had at a restaurant. The grilled oysters were delightful, and the grilled catfish was equally impressive. My wife also enjoyed her grilled shrimp. After trying multiple places, I have to rank Charlie's as my top choice, pushing Philay down to number two.

The seafood platter was way... read more I am sooooo so happy that we drove out to Charlie's! It was still busy at 8pm but we got seated pretty quick. The food was amazing!! The seafood platter was wayyyyy too much for me. I fed two small kids off of it and still had half left. Seriously. It was $28 but SPLIT it!!!! The service was friendly too, we got lucky and got a fun, bubbly waitress. We will be back!!!
