Was Jonathan Price at Breadsmith a mag?
Full disclosure, I work here because Beautifully baked breads, scones, cookies too. I have a gluten sensitivity, take my preventative supplements, and then I need to eat all of the breads made here (not because I work here, because it is totally worth daily bread) And the people who work here are awesome View all feedback.
What Markus Heaney dislikes about Breadsmith:
If I had no stars. On Saturday at 1:45, I know it said closed at 2, but I thought I would see what they had, not much, but got laib of cinnamon, Jalapeño cheddar sourdough cinnamon rolls. Asked if he could cut it, if I wanted to clean wipers, he would be cleaned after closing. He said for the first time, didn't live in the area asking where he told him and he said he shouldn't have money. Well, I spent $27 on 3 items... View all feedback.

I bought some scones, but they were quite dry. I'm not sure how long they had been out. I also tried a chocolate chip cookie, which was enjoyable.
Love their onion rye bread and buy it monthly to use in my meatloaf. They only have it on the menu once a month, but do have traditional rye three days a week.Their other breads are good but rye is my favorite.

Breadsmith offers the best bread, bowls, and rolls in the area! Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious. I’m definitely going to buy all my bread from there!
Nestled in the neighborhood, Breadsmith earns praise for artisan breads—baguettes, boules, sourdough and a much‑loved rye—plus scones and standout cookies (notably chocolate chip and snickerdoodles). Regulars highlight fresh, crusty loaves and occasional gems like rosemary‑garlic rolls; onion rye is a sought-after monthly specialty. Staff are generally friendly and the bakery is consistently reliable, though reviewers note limited specialty availability, occasional service hiccups near closing, and some concerning reports about staff hygiene/behavior.

I absolutely love their onion rye bread, and I buy it every month to use in my meatloaf. They only offer it on the menu once a month, but you can find traditional rye available three days a week. While their other breads are tasty, rye is definitely my favorite.
I've been missing a lot by purchasing bread from a grocery store! I bought my first loaf of sliced French bread, and it won't be the last... the Snickerdoodles and chocolate chip cookies were calling my name. I've never had any cookie more delicious! You gotta Breadsmith.... you won't be sorry!

Breadsmith offers the best bread, cones, and rolls in the area! Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious. I get all of our bread from there.
This bakery offers a fantastic selection of breads, including baguettes, boules, rolls, scones, and an outstanding chocolate chip cookie! They also feature delicious rye bread, wheat bread, sourdough, and more. From time to time, they create incredible rosemary garlic bread rolls that are simply divine. I've been a loyal fan of this bakery since 2006, and they've consistently impressed me.
