What Christina V doesn't like about Hunan Spring:
Passing through Saturday night, every table was taken so we decided to stop for dinner. I'd have to say keep going. Maybe takeout is better as the restaurant is old and very musty. Although the pancakes with my moo shu were great, that and the water were the best thing going. Sorry spring. The pad thai wasn't spicy, moo shu was decent not enough to come back. Online says they close at 10pm. We arrived at 8:15. At 9 w... View all feedback.
Great fun. The waitress here was 5 stars excellent service and really nice. She led us into the menu with the comment "If you never try, you never know. The food was okay. But really it is the waitress who made the meal unforgettable. Love it
Some of the best, most authentic Chinese foods can be found in the area! Upon arrival we were pleased that the restaurant had its own parking on the back. The hostess welcomed us kindly and we had our choice either a stand or a table. The interior of the restaurant was well furnished, and we appreciate the natural lighting and the abundance of plants that really brought the place to life. The menu was absolutely extensive, and there were practically endless options for us to choose. Fortunately, the menu was well organized and we could consult our waiter according to recommendations. We ordered the hot and acid soup, the spicy sommes and the shrimp toast. All came fast and piping hot, and tasted fresh and very tasteful. They were also very accommodating for the vegetarian of the party that is unusual for some other Chinese restaurants. We ordered a few entrees to share, but by far was the highlight of the lobster. It was perfectly and delicately cooked, and the lobster itself was fleshy and juicy. The sauce was delicious savory, and we could taste the skill of the cooks in every bite. Our other entrees were just as happy and you can really not go wrong with something on the menu. Overall, the waiting staff was attentive and helpful, the servings were appropriate and very full, and our culinary experience was very pleasant. We will definitely come back and take if we can't come! You can't miss this place!
Wallace was our waiter, he was very nice and funny. Great service and food was also amazing. We had the lobster corn soup with egg foo young and crispy fried steak
Exceptional food and service. The crispy orange chicken was a highlight! Come on.
Great food and it looks cool too since it used to be a diner.
