What is better...food, cocktails or service? It doesn’t matter at Moki because all of them are spot on! We walked into Moki after two awful dinner experiences. We were greeted immediately by a nice hostess and brought to our table. At first, the prices took us a back a little, especially the kids menu, but when you see the portions and quality of food there is no concern, only gratitude. The kids ordered the fried chicken with fingerling potatoes and shrimp with rice, peas and carrots. Both of them truly enjoyed their meals. My husband and I ordered The Wedge and split the steak with crab and chimichurri. The buttermilk dressing is delightful and we loved the butter lettuce over regular iceberg that you usually get with The Wedge Salad. It is a hearty salad, but doesn’t fill you up too much before your main dish. The steak was cooked perfectly at a medium rare and that sauce was delightful! The crab and fresh herbs in the chimichuri brought a freshness to the dish. Now for the cocktails. Jonathan has done a beautiful job with the menu and he brings mixology to another level. You cannot go wrong and if you need his advice or anyone else’s on what to order, they will point you in the right direction. If you haven’t been here, now is the time to go! We will be back tomorrow.
Wow. I did not expect food this good here at Zion NP. Props to the chef at Moki. Cool name too, if I don't say so myself. We had the hot chicken and the spaghetti with shrimp. The appetizers were also well prepared. They have a full bar here if you are into that. The wait staff is attentive, although our server did say she could not recommend any need dishes because she does not eat beef
The food was outstanding; we haven't tasted anything of such quality in Zion. We started with the tuna carpaccio, which was light and fresh. The pasta was exceptional—our kids devoured every bite! The spit-roasted pig was a table favorite, and the fish of the day was both fresh and expertly cooked. There was so much food that we could only manage a scoop of delicious vanilla ice cream to conclude our meal. I also appreciate that they provide colorful activities for children! Just a note: the photo of the watermelon and tomato salad is a bit misleading. We requested the feta and onions on the side, as they typically come mixed in the salad, I believe.
Very good steak and appetizers. Also, everyone was nice and accommodating. I love their Pig on a Stick, it melts in your mouth.
