Spur - Springbok
Spur
Description
A bustling family-friendly steakhouse that balances hearty, well-prepared dishes with warm, improving service. Standout items—like a melt-in-the-mouth NY sirloin and value-packed breakfasts—pair well with tasty cocktails and a kids’ playground. Staff are personable and efficient, though service can vary during busy periods. The venue is clean and welcoming, but loud TVs and an occasional early kitchen close (contrary to posted hours) can undermine the experience. With attentive hosts and solid food, it’s a reliable spot for families and groups seeking good value and robust flavors.

Since Spur's quality exceeds your expectations. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is fresh, clean and healthy. Also the owner/operator has his rounds in the greeting of all her mosquitoes In line with its estimated position as SA favorite family restaurant, Spur can be proud of this.
1st visit was very very poor. 2nd visit was way better.....The welcoming, getting our table and our order was taken immediately. Our food was served in less than 15min. I wish them all the best to keep on doing better, especially while working under pressure. Other than the service the food was good.
The TV was turned up so load, it made it unpleasant for me to enjoy my meal. Felt like I was in a sports bar, instead of a family restaurant. The onion rings should be more golden and crispy.
Had the bad service experience last night. The closing time on the website is 22h00. Got there about 20h35. To be told I only have until 20h45 to order as the Kitchem closes. I then just ordered meal for my kid as she wanted to go especially for the playground and then we just had drink and didn't order for ourselves and left after 20 min.
