What User dislikes about Spring Valley Inn:
I've always had good experiences with the meat I've purchased from this place, but not so much with the salads. I bought a prepackaged salad for $12.99 while visiting my mother in the area and didn’t check the expiration date. It turned out to be 6 days past the package date. The ingredients were old, brown, and soggy, and there were barely 4 tablespoons of dressing. Given the price, I expected a much better quality... View all feedback.

I've been driving on svi for years. george, the owner is a friend of mine. when they visit san diego county, they consider a drink. the Taco people sold excellent food outside. best idea for the bar. the super market next door also sells fresh food. Stop it, you're not sorry. p. s. biker friendly.

Nestled in Spring Valley, Valley Farm Market stands out with its exceptional meat counter, offering a delightful selection for enthusiasts. While praised for its quality meats and friendly staff, the market has faced criticism over overpriced items and inconsistent service, particularly at the salad section. Recent refurbishments have revitalized the store's appeal, enhancing the shopping experience. Customers rave about the BBQ offerings, with many considering them some of the best around. Though some lament the absence of a sampler platter, the market continues to attract patrons for its diverse drink options and prepared food, making it a beloved local destination.

I recently relocated to Spring Valley, and two coworkers from Miramar, who were born and raised in the area, highly recommended this restaurant to me. I have to say, the customer service truly lived up to their praise—I felt like a VIP during my visit. I will definitely be returning!
I am only reviewing the restaraunt butcher shop as that is all I have bought from.I have to say I'm sad they got rid of the BBQ shack, but I'm glad they're still selling some barbecue over in the back of the shop where the butcher shop is. I didn't order any meats, just a few pounds of the sauce. I have tried every state's style of BBQ and even some international versions and this sauce is my family's and my favorite by far. I'm glad I got to visit San Diego to restock! It took a little bit for the employees to find the code, but it was well worth the wait.My biggest gripe is that this shop doesn't ship any of their stuff, as I would bite the shipping fee for a few pounds of their sauce every few months and would be willing to try some of their other in house stuff. Since they opened the La Jolla store, I think that would be a nice next step. My other minor gripe is that the shack had a sampler platter for $15 $20 that had a little bit of all the meats they cook and I didn't see that on the menu in the shop anymore. If they had that, I would have bought that too.

Still love the employees here but this place is out of control $8 dollars for siracha , pizzas $5 dollars MORE than anywhere else , 8.99 gallon of milk $14 dollars for organic OJ for 20 bucks!!!!!!, LA JOLLA prices in spring Valley. Drive not even 2 mins to to grocery outlet and get same cream 20 dollars cheaper. If didn’t have butchers shop would never go here!!
Valley Farm Market is famous for its outstanding meat counter, which is a must-visit for any meat lover. Beer enthusiasts will also appreciate the impressive variety available. Additionally, they serve delicious BBQ that is sure to satisfy your cravings. Don't forget to check out their excellent selection of fresh fruits and vegetables as well!

I was asked to leave by the hostess because of my race.
This cozy restaurant was filled with lively people and had a neighborhood vibe. The atmosphere was casual with a dart board, outdoor seating for enjoying Mexican food, and a great selection of drinks. I had a great time during my visit.
