One of the best steakhouses I've ever been to. It was very busy but I only had to wait a few minutes. Service was quick and polite. I got the tomahawk steak (medium rare) and it was cooked perfectly. I asked for clam chowder and it was also some of the best. I usually get it when I go to the coast and this blew those soups out of the water. Very good prices. If I'm ever in the area again, I will be back! Thanks for a... View all feedback.
What Dawn F doesn't like about El Rodeo Steakhouse:
We ate dinner here last night, 3 of us ordered the Texas fajitas, all 3 orders came out over cooked and the meat was all dried out. The service was OK. Slow but friendly View all feedback.
Located in a non-descript shopping center and boasting Mexican Food and a Steak House. Interesting combination to say the least. The house salsa is very mild and a little too watery for my taste. I went for the ribeye steak dinner, it was okay, but a little over cooked. The drinks were stiff, and the prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly and attentive.
We had a very bad customer experience at this restaurant. First of all we called them and askmif they serve vegetarian food and they said that they have some mexican food options which are vegetarian. We thus went to the restaurant and ordered all the vegetarian options. Our very first order was cheese dip and we found a small piece of grounded beef. We asked the server and they really took long and later one of the waitress came and apologized. We were dismayed to the fact that there was a contamination in our food and hence we decided to leave. Overall, we totaly agree to the human error behind all this but they gave us the check and charged us for the cheese dip for which they were at fault. We just paid the check and left as we were super hungry as it was past dinner time for our little daughter.
Steak was so rubbery meat was old. The place was nice but the food was not that great.
Way over priced for ehat it is. Small portions, usually over cooked and dry. For averaging $22 a plate, the portions should be more significant, beans shouldn't be dry, and shrimp shouldn't be over cooked. Waitress was sweett though. Too loud and cramped at times.
